Am I wrong to find this funny?
Today I received a voice mail from the Vice Principal at my son's school.
My son was issued a detention that is to be served on Tuesday.
10 different scenarios flew through my head at once. What did he do? Was he fighting? beat up a teacher? cheating? issued a bomb threat? WHAT HAPPENED???!
Mr. Vice Principal then told me, in that authoritative way that Vice Principals speak, "the school has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for gum chewing."
What a Drama Queen.
Rules are rules, but really, is all this drama necessary?
Apparently, I am not alone!!!
